Looks like we have a month and a half to see what we are made of. I haven’t written in a while, mostly due to work, home, new boat More Cowbell and sailing commitments.
Let’s see, what has happened in the last month and a half…we have done some Wednesday night racing (good boat handling), we have moved the boat to HYC for the duration of the season, we did a clinic last weekend with Terry Flynn, I’ve done some repair work on the boat, ordered some shirts and done some campaign bookkeeping. I continue to fret over which sails to buy and what kind of coaching we are going to get prior to the Rolex. I would love for David and crew to two boat tune with us, but he is really busy with the 24 and 22 campaigns and More Cowbell (Caliber 40), it doesn’t look like we’ll have much time. Our other coaching options are quickly dwindling.
We are looking forward to the NOOD this weekend at HYC. Patricia is flying up from Mexico on Thursday, it will be nice to see her again. Chelsea and I are on diets and working out everyday. We will do a mock weigh in this Friday morning.
Here is the list of entries. Very tough group. I hope we can hang with these guys. I will be washing, waxing and polishing on Thursday night in preparation.
